# Favicons

|
Two websites are being used to generate them based on the files in
|
|
`assets/img/`.
|
|
|
|
- [favicon.io](https://favicon.io)
|
|
- [realfavicongenerator.net](https://realfavicongenerator.net)
|
|
|
|
One makes smaller files and the other makes larger plus svg.
|
|
|
|
Then the `layouts/partials/extend_head.html` file helps add any favicons that
|
|
PaperMod does not account for. Previous themes used `meta.html` and
|
|
`favicons.html` with a custom `layouts/_default/baseof.html`.
